New financial incentives for Homeowners

Energy Upgrade California (EUCA) is a statewide effort to transform the existing home industry.  Instead of single measure rebates typical of previous utility programs, EUCA wants to incentivize home performance.  The primary objective of the program is to motivate residential energy consumers to use a comprehensive whole-house approach to reducing energy consumption when considering home improvements. Homeowners are encouraged to view their home as a system.  When the home is properly sealed, insulation upgraded, ducts sealed, windows replaced, etc. the whole house is more efficient.  Incentives are based on the amount of energy saved as determined by energy modeling software, currently Energy Pro. As a certified CalCERTS Whole House Energy Rater, Building Energy Services & Technology Consultants can help you the energy efficiency of your existing home and help qualify you for these new incentives.
